You need the following materials to mount interior tags:
• Rubbing alcohol or 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water
• Sponge and dry cloth
To mount interior tags
1. Use the sponge and rubbing alcohol to clean the tag mounting area on the
interior surface of the windshield.
2. Dry the area thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.
3. Remove the clear backing from the two strips of hook and loop material on the
back of the tag as shown in Figure 4-4 or from the double-sided tape.

4. Position the tag over the mounting area of the windshield, ensuring that the logo
on the tag and the logo on the SmartPass are oriented in the same direction,
horizontal or vertical.
5. Press the tag firmly against the glass.
To remove an interior tag mounted with hook and loop material, pull the tag away
from the windshield. The hook material will remain on the windshield.
