TriPlus RSH User Guide

Thermo Scientific

The wizard 

Teach Tool Station

 calibrates the position of the slot(-s). The height of the tool, 

installed in the slot, is calibrated against the TriPlus RSH Injection Unit base plate to define 
the coupling distance.

To calibrate the position of the slots

1. Select the wizard item 

Teach Tool Station

. See

The wizard automatically turns off the current to the TriPlus RSH to enable a manual 
movement of the TriPlus RSH Injection Unit to the first Slot.

If you have performed 

“Calibrate Motors” 

on 

page 199

, a tool should still be installed. 

If for any reason there is no installed tool, the TriPlus RSH will recognize the situation 
and will go through an intermediate step to mount a tool.

WARNING  

When an ATC Station is used in the configuration of the system, remove any 

other tool from the slots before the wizard is started. If this is not observed, an error 
message will appear.
