Options Pull-up Menu for ATC Station

Selecting the pull-up menu

Options

opens up the following tasks. See

.

Tool EEPROM Access

Disabling the EEPROM access will electrically isolate the
tool from the ATC Station. This is a protective measure if
the TriPlus RSH Head positions the tool in the ATC
Station. For automation, tool change, or tool calibration, the
automatic disabling and enabling of EEPROM Access is
built into the wizards.

When working with the Virtual Handheld Controller,
however, closing the window of the Virtual Handheld
Controller before a task is finished might cause the ATC
Station to remain disabled. This feature gives the operator
the possibility to manually control the ATC Station.

ATC Slot Index

For information only.

Tool Present

Indicates if the tool is parked in the Slot (if not, either
mounted in the TriPlus RSH Head, or not recognized by the
system).

Fiber Protection

This parameter allows defining the Slot Position for the
SPME Tool.
Note that this parameter is used for the SPME1 Holder only.

Checks the teaching position of the module. This task serves
as a quick check to determine if the X-, Y-, and Z-positions
are defined correctly. In case a teaching point is off, return to

for readjustment of the teaching position.

Please note that this action can be done under the

Extended

User Level

but not under

User Level

.

Teach Module

The positions of the X-, Y-, and Z-axes can be defined, for
teaching.

Reset Invalid Eeprom

Allows in the case of a broken communication to the ATC
Station to re-establish it on the running system, without
shutting down the entire TriPlus RSH system.

Park Tool

This menu item allows parking a tool in a slot without
picking up another tool.
