TriPlus RSH User Guide

Thermo Scientific

Obstacle

The object 

Obstacle

 is a module from another device, for example a large Thermal 

Conductivity Detector (TCD).

If a module exceeds a certain height, it could get in the path way of the TriPlus RSH. 
The dimensions and the position of the Obstacle can be defined. The TriPlus RSH will 
exclude this area from the allowed path way and will bypass it. 

Upon selecting the list item 

Tools Station

, the following parameters are available for 

modification. See 

Figure 82

.

TR Tool

Visible only if TR Station is 
installed.

The installed tool will be parked in the TR Station.

Configure SPME Tool

Visible only if SPME Tool 
is installed

.

Configures the SPME Tool with Fiber adjustments.

Home Motor

Allows the Home position of the selected motor.

Enable Motor

Allows enabling the selected motor after it has been disabled.

Disable Motor

Allows disabling the selected motor to permit moving the 
corresponding axis manually.

Calibrate Tool

Allows calibrating the tool installed in the head.

Check Tool Calibration

Allows checking the calibration point of the tool installed in 
the head.

Select Tool

Allows selecting another tool. The currently-attached tool is 
first parked and the newly-required tool is picked up.

Park Tool

Allows parking a tool without picking up another tool from 
the TR Station.

Reset to Default

Resets the selected module parameter to the default value.
