This label guarantees that Phadia 100 complies
with electrical safety standards used in the USA
and Canada. It is placed on the Rear Panel of the
instrument.

Limitations of

Up to four conjugates can be placed in the
Sample Carousel. This means that the maximum
number of methods that can be run at the same
time is four. EliA methods can not be used
together with ImmunoCAP methods.

Precaution

Phadia 100 is intended for

in vitro

diagnostic

testing, using reagents of Phadia only. When
operating Phadia 100, reagents manufactured
from human blood components are frequently
used. The source materials have been tested by
immunoassay for hepatitis B surface antigen
and for antibodies to HIV 1, HIV 2 and hepatitis
C and found to be negative. Nevertheless, all
recommended precautions for handling of blood
derivatives should be observed. Please refer to
HHS publication No. (CDC) 93-8395 or local/
national guidelines on laboratory safety
procedures.
