To replace the half height tape drive in your library (or both half height tape
drives) with a full height tape drive, follow these steps.

Preparing for replacement

Power off the host.

Power off the library (press the

on the back of the unit).

Disconnect the power cord, the SCSI or Fibre Channel cable(s), and the
terminator (if present).
