ANUALLY
You can print manually from the Multipurpose Tray as long
as you select Tray 1 (Manual) for your paper source in the
printer driver. Manual printing can be helpful when you
want to check print quality after each page. You load paper
sheet-by-sheet, send the print data from your application,
and then press the Go/Continue button to print each page
1.
Load media in the Multipurpose Tray print side up (A) .
2. Adjust the Width Guide so that it lightly touches the side
of the stack

3. Select Tray 1 (Manual) in the Paper Source area of your
printer driver
(C) In Windows, set up the paper source
on the Paper tab of the printer Properties window. On
the Macintosh, select your paper source from the
General
menu inside the Page Setup dialog box.
4. Select print from your screen.
5. The Manual Feed light on the Operator Panel will start
blinking

. Press the Go/Continue button.
6. After one page has printed, the Manual Feed LED will
start blinking again prompting you to feed the next sheet.
Press the Go/Continue button for each page.
The minimum size the Multipurpose Tray supports is 3.15
inches by 5.8 inches. The maximum size it supports is 8.5
inches by 14 inches.
