Low Fire Hold with an RWF55 (continued) 

 
Operation 

1.

 

When the boiler temperature falls below the low fire hold temperature threshold

 

(AL - 1/2 HYSt), contact K6 opens and prevents the LMV5 from increasing the firing rate.  
This is the case for either analog or 3-position output from the RWF55.

 

 

2.

 

Once the boiler warms up above the low fire hold threshold (AL + 1/2 HYSt), contact K6 
closes and the burner modulates according to the PID settings of the RWF55. 
 

Example 

Low fire hold threshold settings: 

 

AL = 180 
HYSt = 10
