6.2.10 Log

TC is not CFR21 part 11 compliant.
The log output via the touch screen is always saved to the SD card. The sole
purpose of the SD card is to save logs.
The device does not support every type of memory card . Therefore, a
compatible card is supplied and it is imperative that this card be used .
Incompatible memory cards can cause the machine to behave erroneously .
Logs of several devices can be saved to one card. These logs are saved in
different folders. The folder name contains the serial number of the device
and is hence unique. The following table shows an example of how the
content of a memory card can look.

As you can see the content of the folders in this example is different,
the reason being that the user has not always made the same selection
in the output.
Details about the selection criteria are listed in the following table.
Selection criterion Meaning
Weld Log All weld logs from the selected day to the last
welding done.
All Weld logs and Raw logs from the selected day
to the last entry.
The current status
Selecting the date
By selecting a date, the user can specify how many logs will be downloaded
to the SD card. The date entered will set the start of the period for
downloading. The end date is always the current day. If entered 01/01/2001,
the whole memory content will be downloaded. This may take some time!
The saving process is shown by a progress display and as a sequence can be
stopped.
When outputting logs to the SD card, all data saved on the device are
outputted . When outputting logs via Web browser, only a portion of the
saved data is outputted . See Chapter 9 .7 Log
