Logging On to the System
Logging On to the Instrument
You must enter the password to log on to the instrument. Enter
your 1 to 6-digit password using a "Number" button(s).You can set
your password beforehand. To correct the password you have
entered, pressing the "Back Space" button deletes the last number
entered.
Each entered number appears as "*" in the Enter Password field.
Press the “Enter” button to log on to the instrument.
If a wrong password was entered, an error sound is output. Enter
the correct password again.
If "AUTO LOGON" is set and you are using the instrument as
"Everyone," you can close the screen with the "Close" button.
For the "AUTO LOGIN" setting, contact the nearest authorized
Sakura distributor or representative.
Logging Off from the Instrument
To log off from the instrument, press the Log off button in the top
right-hand corner of the screen.
You are logged off from the instrument.
Returning from the Sleep Mode
If the screen is in the sleep mode, press the "Wake-up" button on
the screen to switch to the password entry screen.
If the screen remains dark and nothing is displayed, touch the
screen once, and the password entry screen will come back.
The instrument enters the sleep mode following a
manual/automatic shutdown. After the temperature is raised to
a certain level for the defrost cycle, temperature adjustment is
stopped. You can change the duration of the sleep mode by
changing the applicable times in the set schedule.
Returning from the Standby Mode
The instrument enters the standby mode if not used for a certain
period of time.
The screen remains dark and nothing is displayed during the
standby mode. Touch the screen once, and it will come back.
Once in the standby mode, the instrument performs the following:
• Turn off the backlight.
• Hold the specimen head temperature at -20
°
C.
• Move the specimen head to a safe position (back).
• Automatically log off the user. (If AUTO LOGON is set.)
