Logging On to the System
Performing Pre-operation Checks
Perform the following checks before operating the Polar® instrument.
•
Checking the Waste Tank
Drain the liquid waste, if collected, and clean the tank.
Turning On the Power
Turn on the power, if not yet turned on.
The power switch is found on the right side face of the Polar® instrument. Tilt the switch upward to turn on
the power.
When the power is turned on, the startup screen appears and
shows the progress of startup process including hardware checks
using the progress bar.
Once the instrument has started, the password entry screen
appears to let you log on to the instrument. If the "AUTO LOGON"
setting is enabled, the [SECTION] Tab Screen appears instead of
the password entry screen.
