Cleaning the Anti-Roll Rake
Debris attached to the Anti-Roll Rake can be removed effectively by disassembling/cleaning the Anti-Roll
Rake.
Disassembling/Cleaning the Anti-Roll Rake
1. Use an Allen wrench to remove the Anti-Roll Rake locking screw and wipe the Anti-Roll Rake with a dry
cloth, etc.
2. When the cleaning is complete, set them back in their original positions.
Tighten the Anti-Toll Take locking screw to lock the Anti-Roll Rake.
Cleaning the Object Holder
To clean the object holders, use neutral detergents having pH6.0 ~ 8.5 or 2% glutaraldehyde. Do not use
acid or alkaline detergent. Doing so may dissolve the object holders.
Wear a mask, gloves, goggles and other protective gears when handling a disinfectant such as
glutaraldehyde. Thoroughly rinse the object holder with water after disinfected and dry it. If a disinfectant
such as glutaraldehyde remains, it may cause health hazard or instrument malfunction.
Cleaning the Window Gasket
The ozone disinfection cycle may be disabled if the window gasket is damaged or has foreign deposits.
Periodically check and wipe clean the window frame and gasket to remove foreign objects.
Replacing the Ozone Lamp
The ozone generation capacity of the lamp drops after a long period of use, and the ozone disinfection
performance of the instrument drops as a result. Replace the ozone lamp after around 1,000 times of use or
every year. If you want to replace the ozone lamp, contact the nearest authorized Sakura distributor or
representative.
