WARNING
•
If there is a power interruption during the ozone disinfection cycle, do not open the
window.
Ozone might leak from the instrument.

* Ozone disinfection involves the generation of high concentration ozone inside a sealed chamber under
negative pressure with a locked window to eliminate bacteria and viruses and/or fungi. Although the window
is locked even after a power interruption, the inside of the chamber is no longer in a negative pressure state.
For this reason, ozone might leak from the chamber if an attempt is made to open the window.
•
If there is the possibility of ozone still remaining in the chamber as a result of a power
interruption, move at least 30 cm away from the edge of the window on the instrument
until power is restored.
Ozone might leak from the instrument.

If an error occurs during the ozone disinfection cycle, operate by following the
on-screen messages. Also, if an error that cannot automatically be recovered occurs, do
not touch the window on the instrument, but immediately contact the nearest authorized
Sakura distributor or representative.
If an error that cannot automatically be recovered occurs, there might be ozone still inside the chamber.
Also, even if an error can automatically be recovered, to be extra sure contact the nearest authorized
Sakura distributor or representative before using the instrument.

Do not place or drop heavy objects on the window.
This might damage or crack the window, and cause ozone to leak from the instrument.
•
If the window is damaged or cracked, do not perform ozone disinfection.
If the window is damaged or cracked, the window might break during the ozone disinfection cycle.
Immediately contact the nearest authorized Sakura distributor or representative.
•
If the motor operates or sounds abnormally OR if the ozone lamp lights up when it is not
supposed to, OR if you notice other abnormalities, do not open the window but
immediately turn the power OFF.
There might be ozone still inside the chamber. Immediately contact the nearest authorized Sakura
distributor or representative.

•
During the ozone disinfection cycle, do not turn the handwheel.
Turning the handwheel during the ozone disinfection cycle might cause a rupture in the rubber seal that
separates the outer air from inside the chamber and cause ozone to leak.
