Other Operations 

Draft Generator   

The draft generator provides the function to suction air in the top part of the chamber from both sides when the window 
is opened, in order to keep contaminated air from diffusing out of the chamber. Suctioned air is passed through the 
HEPA filter in the rear of the instrument and then exhausted to the outside.   
 

The draft generator is optional.   

 
The draft generator can be turned on/off using the "Draft Generator" button on the [UTILITIES] Tab Screen.   
 
 

Starting the Draft Generator   

1.  Press the "Draft Generator" button on the [UTILITIES] Tab 

Screen.   

2.  The draft generator setting screen appears.   
3.  Press the "ON" button. 
4.  Pressing the “Enter” button saves the setting, after which the 

display returns to the [UTILITIES] Tab Screen.   

The draft generator starts operating when the window is opened.   
 

If no operation has been performed for 5 minutes, the setting 
is not saved and the screen closes automatically.   

 
 

Stopping the Draft Generator   

1.  Press the "Draft Generator" button on the UTILITIES tab 

screen.   

2.  The draft generator setting screen appears.   
3.  Press the "OFF" button. 
4.  Pressing the “Enter” button saves the setting, after which the 

display returns to the [UTILITIES] Tab Screen.   

The draft generator stops operating.   
 

If no operation has been performed for 5 minutes, the setting 
is not saved and the screen closes automatically.   

 

 
 

Changing the Suction Force of the Draft Generator 

To change the suction force of the draft generator, press the 
"Suction Force Change" switch on the instrument.   
The suction level can be switched over 5 levels (1 to 5), with the 
suction force increasing by one level every time the "Suction Force 
Change" switch is pressed. After reaching the highest level of 5, 
the suction force returns to 1 the next time the switch is pressed.
