6 Acquiring Images

■ Angle Correction
Angle correction is used to adjust the angle of the flow cursor in the PW mode.
To set the angle correction:
1. Select the
Menu key in the real time PW mode. A menu pops up on the screen.
2. Select
Angle Correct
by using the trackball or the ↑ or ↓ key.
3. Rotate the Menu key or select the ← or → key to adjust the angle.
You can also select the Angle key on the control panel to adjust the angle.
NOTE:
You only need to set it when performing measurements related to velocity.
■ Simult
Simult
is used to synchronously display two real time scans in the 2D and the PW modes.
To enable or disable the feature:
Select
Simult in the activated PW mode or in the inactivated B+PW mode 2, the two real time scans in the 2D and
the PW modes are displayed.
NOTE:
Simult is only available in the PW mode.
6�6 Acquiring Triplex-Mode Images
The triplex mode is overlapped by three different imaging modes, and can be applied to view the image. The triplex
mode includes B+C/TDI +M, B+C/PDI/TDI +PW and B+C/PDI+CW.
6�6�1 B+C/TDI +M
NOTE:
Only the phased array probe is available for B+C/TDI +M.
Perform the following steps to acquire the image.
1. Optimize a C/TDI mode image.
2. Select the
M key on the control panel to enter the inactivated C+M/TDI +M mode.

3. Adjust the ROI and M line by using the trackball.
