Optimizing C/PDI/TDI Mode Images

After entering the C/PDI/TDI-mode, the imaging parameters display at the bottom of the LCD monitor as shown in
Figure 6-6, you can use them to optimize C/PDI/TDI-mode images.
You can adjust other parameters and display modes on the pop-up menu by selecting the

Menu

key.

NOTE:

You can adjust all parameters in the real time C/PDI/TDI mode, but can only adjust

in the frozen C/PDI/TDI mode.

Gain

Color flow gain optimizes the color flow continuity with less noise interference.

To adjust the gain:

Rotate the

C

knob clockwise to increase the gain value in the C/PDI/TDI mode.

Rotate the

C

knob anticlockwise to decrease the gain value in the C/PDI/TDI mode.

■

Frequency

Frequency optimizes the penetrability and the sensitivity of the color flow.

To adjust the frequency:
1. Select

Frequency

by pressing the corresponding function key.

2. Rotate it to adjust the value.

■

Wall Filter

Wall filter is used to filter the low frequency noise from tissues, such as the vascular wall.
