DHCP Relay Configuration Commands

5.1.1

ip dhcp relay check server-id

Use this command to enable the

ip dhcp relay check

server-id

function. The

form of this command is used to disable the

ip dhcp relay check server-id

function.

Default

Disabled.

Command

mode

Global configuration mode.

Usage

guidelines

Switch will select the server to be sent according to

server-id option when forwarding DHCP REQUEST via

this command. Wihout this comand configured, the switch

forwards the DHCP REQUEST to all configured DHCP

servers.

Examples

The following example enables the ip dhcp relay check

server-id function.
