Metering slide adjustment

Check the setting of the metering slide for even opening before each spreading
season and also during the season if necessary.

Disengage the return spring and adjustment cylinder:

In order to check the metering slide adjustment, the mechanism must be freely
movable.

Check:

Open maintenance cover.

Dismounting the agitator.

DANGER

Risk of crushing and shearing!

There is a risk of crushing and shearing while working at automat-
ically operated components (adjustment lever, metering slide).
Pay attention to the shear points at metering opening and the
metering slide during adjustment.



Switch off the tractor engine. Remove the ignition key.



Open the metering slide fully.



During adjustment, do not operate the hydraulic metering
slide.

Disengage the return spring
with the adjustment lever.

Disengage the electric or hy-
draulic cylinder.
