III.1 Procedure

OTR 1001c

OTR 1001m

Initial Steps

Use the above link to download

zResolutionAdjust.exe

from the OmniTek website.

Select a USB stick that does not have any .exe files in the root directory (or move these files
to a folder).

Copy

zResolutionAdjust.exe

to the root of this USB stick.

Check that you have a mouse and keyboard plugged into the OTR.

Turn on the OTR 1001 and insert the USB stick containing the

zResolutionAdjust

program.

Steps to take if the screen resolution is poor:

Wait for the

Available Commands

dialog

to appear, then take the

Monitor

Resolution Adjust

option, by pressing the

White button.

Wait for the

Available Commands

dialog

to appear, then take the

Monitor

Resolution Adjust

option by pressing

Enter on the keyboard

Use the

Resolution

setting in the Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel that is displayed to

select the desired screen resolution.

Steps to take if there is no display:

Wait for the initial button check to
complete (and either the View, Gen or
Config button to stay lit), then press the
White button.

Use the

Resolution

setting in the Intel

Graphics and Media Control Panel that is
displayed to select the desired screen
resolution

Wait for 2 minutes then start pressing the
Enter key on the keyboard every 15 -30
seconds until a screen display appears.

Wait about 15 seconds longer, then use the

Resolution

setting in the Intel Graphics

and Media Control Panel that is displayed
to select the desired screen resolution.

Finally:

Shut down, then restart the OTR.
