7.6 Adjusting the Bevel Position

1. Read the lens data of circle 45.

(See 7.2.4.)

2. Select the grinding settings on the layout

screen.

1) Frame type: Metal
2) Processing mode: Guide (5 : 5)
3) Polishing: NONE
4) S.F.B.: NONE

3. Verify that the bevel is in the middle of the

lens edge after the grinding is completed.

4. Adjust it by following the procedures below

when the bevel is not in the middle of the
lens edge.

1) Establish the Parameter Setting mode.

(See 7.1.2.)

2) Press Adjustment.
3) Press Finish Size.
4) Adjust the parameter settings below.
* The bevel position (glass) adjustment is only

for the wheel type of PLB-G.

a. Bevel Position
b. Bevel Position (Glass)
* Entering the minus value moves the bevel

position toward the front.

* Change the parameter values in ±0.05

increments.

* Use the lens which the lens thickness is within

2mm when the lens is CR-39..

* When the bevel position displaces toward the

front and rear around the middle of the lens
edge in the guided processing (5:5), make it
toward the front.
