7.2 Verification before Adjustment

7.2.1 Verifying the wheel type

1. Establish the System Setting mode.

(See 7.1.3.)

2. Press Wheel Parameter.
3. Verify that the installed wheel type matches

to the one displayed in the Machine Type
before starting the adjustment.

1) PLB-G (able to grind glass lenses)
2) PLB (disabled to grind glass lenses)

4. After the verification, press BACK to return

to the System Setting screen.

7.2.2 Checking the chuck pressure

1. Establish the Parameter Setting mode.

(See 7.1.2.)

2. Select Setting - Grinding and press Chuck

Pressure.

3. Verify that the chuck pressures are as

described below.

Default setting
1) CR39/Hi Index

: 3

2) Polyca/Acrylic/Trivex : 3
3) Glass

: 2

4. After the verification, press BACK to return

to the Parameter Setting mode.
