7.2.3.2 Compound

 1. When the water is running to the wheel, press the STOP button to stop it supplying.

* Wipe the water when the wheel is wet.
* Do not run the cleaning water while the compounding is being performed. Desired effect of

the compound may not be obtained.

 2. Apply a small amount of the (specified) compound to a dry or felt cloth. Touch it to the

polishing wheel which is rotating and polish the surface of the polishing wheel.

 3. After touching the dressing stick to the wheel for a few seconds, apply a small amount of

the compound to a cloth and polish the polishing wheel again.

 4. Repeatedly perform the steps 2 - 3 several times.

5. After the polishing is completed, run the cleaning water and remove the compound on the

wheel with a brush.

6. Press STOP for the wheel dressing to complete this work.

7.2.4 Reading the lens data

1. Establish the Menu mode and select

Maintenance.
(See 7.1.1.)

2. Read the stored lens data.

1) Circle 45: Press DONE for the Circle 45.
2) Square 45: Press DONE for the Square 45.
3) 50×25mm: Press DONE for the Rectangle

50×25.

4) Lens to check drilling: Press DONE for the

Test Pattern.

5) Lens to adjust the hole depth: Press DONE

for the

 

Drill Adjustment Pattern (Depth).

3. When the stored lens data has been read, the

screen will return to the layout screen.
