Applications
Hardware Configuration
1. Set the process variable jumper and remote setpoint jumper to mA. Make
sure that both inputs are set up to accept the corresponding signal from the
flow transmitters.
2. Wire as in Figure
7.21.
Software Configuration
1. Make sure that the range of both inputs matches the range of the
corresponding transmitter:
a. Go to the
PV1 INPUT
menu.
b. Set the
HI. RANGE
and
LOW RANGE
parameters.
c. Go to the
REM. SETPT.
menu.
d. Set the
RSP:HI RNG.
and
RSP:LO RNG.
parameters.
2. Adjust the ratio between the two streams:
a. Go to the
TUNING
menu.
b. Set the
RSP RATIO
parameter. The value of this parameter will be
multiplied by the remote setpoint signal to yield the effective remote
setpoint.
