5: BASIC OPERATION

LMV1000 (G)(E) AIR-COOLED LASER MARKER

(4) Shutdown

Go to the

Operate

screen.

Press the

Starting

ready

button.

The

Starting ready

button will change to display

Start

Once

Start

is displayed, the Laser Diode (LD) will turn off (changes

to black) and the message

Cooling LD

will be displayed.

CAUTION

While the message

Cooling LD

is displayed, do

not

turn off the Main Power

Switch. If the Main Power Switch is turned off when the LD is cooling down, the
service life of LD will be reduced. Also, the

system data on the memory card may

be lost or destroyed and the laser marker may not start

Verify that the message

Cooling LD

disappears, then turn the

Control

keyswitch OFF.

Disconnect the USB drive (when it is connected to a PC), by
selecting the icon on the task bar located on the lower right of the
PC screen. When the window opens, press the

STOP

button.
