(3) Head Unit

1.

Air Filter

Prevents dust and dirt from entering the Marker.

CAUTION:

If the Air Filter is clogged, the inside temperature of the head unit may rise which

can cause the Marker to malfunction.

Remove the air filter and clean it with a neutral detergent every 1–6 months, depending on the
operating environment. See

Chapter 12, Maintenance

for details.

2.

Oscillation Unit

Contains the Laser Oscillator. The housing is designed to prevent dust from entering the
system. Never remove the oscillation cover except in a clean room (< 100) environment.
