3. Memory Card Slot
Used to read and save the marking data. When the memory card is inserted, the equipment is
ready for operation.
CAUTION
Be sure to insert or remove the memory card with the Main Power Switch
turned OFF. If you do not,
the data may be lost or the memory card may
become unusable . We recommend that you backup data periodically to
prevent data from being corrupted. Be sure to use the specified memory
card, or else the laser marker may
not work normally.
4. CONTROL Key Switch
When rotated to the ON position, the LD is ready for operation. When rotated to the OFF
position, the LD is turned OFF.
5. Emergency Stop Button
Used for emergencies; stops laser oscillation and shuts down the Marker system.
6. Panel Indicators
Indicators light up on the equipment under the following conditions:
POWER The power is supplied to the equipment.
READY The LD is turned on.
SHUTTER The main safety shutter in the head unit is open.
MARKING The Marker is in the process of marking.
GUIDE The visible guide beam is turned on. LMV1000 (E) ONLY.
TROUBLE A Marker fault has occurred.
All indicators light up during the self-diagnostic check (see Chapter 5, Basic Operation for the
self-diagnostics).
NOTE: The indicators light up sequentially from
READY
to
TROUBLE
when an instantaneous
interruption of the power supply is detected. Turn off the Main Power Switch and check the
power supply voltage.
7. Main Power Switch
When rotated to the ON-position, the power is supplied to the equipment. When rotated to the
OFF-position, the power supply is turned off and all operations stop.
8. Front Cover
An air filter is installed behind this cover. Clean the filter periodically (see Chapter 12,
Maintenance ) .
