1:  SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

LMV1000 (G)(E) AIR-COOLED LASER MARKER

1-6

990-541

x

The  Laser Marker will access the memory card for approx. 15 seconds after the USB cable is
disconnected.  Do

not

turn off the Main Power Switch during this time.

x

Do

not

turn off the Main Power Switch for at least 15 seconds after changing data (marking data,

system parameters, etc.) through the Operation unit.

x

Do not disconnect the USB cable while the power is supplied.  If these cautions are not followed,
the data on memory card may be destroyed.  If the data on memory card is destroyed, marking will
not be possible and the laser marker may not power-up correctly.

x

For stable marking, allow the Laser Marker to remain powered up and idle for approximately 10 to
30 minutes.

x

Save the created data periodically.  If the memory card develops trouble, the data may be lost and
the laser marker may not start.

Lithium Backup Battery Precautions

WARNING

The battery may explode

 if it is replaced incorrectly.

Always

 replace

the battery with the same type (or equivalent).

CAUTION

Follow your local environmental regulations for battery disposal
because Lithium Batteries contain dangerous materials.
