Troubleshooting

If the Marker experiences trouble, the Trouble light on the front panel will light and the error will
display on the

MarkMonitor

window. Perform corrective action according to the table below. Once the

source of trouble is fixed, press the

Reset

button in the

MarkMonitor

window to clear the error.

There is an incorrect/unrecognized value in the layout data.
Check layout parameters and resend command.

There is missing data in the layout command. Check layout
parameters and resend command.

Serial data overflow

Serial data has reached the maximum value. Check the
contents, and then reset the present value of the serial data.

Character command error

Character data error. Restart the control unit and PC, then
transfer the character data.

Battery Voltage Low.

The Control Unit battery voltage is low. Replace battery.
