Water

Water is used to cool the turbomolecular pumps.

Nitrogen Gas In

The nitrogen supply (100 psi, 7 bar) should be connected to the

Nitrogen Gas In

push-in connector using 6mm PTFE tubing. If necessary this tubing can be connected
to ¼ inch tubing using standard ¼ inch fittings.

Caution:

Use only PTFE tubing or clean metal tubing to connect between the

nitrogen supply and the instrument. The use of other types of plastic tubing
results in chemical contamination of the source.
