Overview

This chapter describes safety guidelines for the MagneMover

®

 LITE components and their 

use in a transport system. All personnel involved in the operation or maintenance of the MM 
LITE

®

 components and the transport system must be familiar with the safety precautions out-

lined in this chapter.

NOTE:

These safety recommendations are basic guidelines. If the facility where the Magne-
Mover LITE components are installed in a transport system has additional safety 
guidelines they should be followed as well, along with the applicable local and 
national safety codes.

If any additional safety-related upgrades or newly identified hazards associated with the Mag-
neMover LITE components are identified, the Technical Support group will notify the owner 
of record.

Included in this chapter are:

•
