Output-v olta ge monitoring function
When the output v oltage de viates from ±(10 % of the s50 V), the protection
function acti v ates. “V OL T ERR OR” fl ashes on the LCD, and the test stops.
T o cancel the protection function, press the ST OP switch.
In insulation resistance testing, ho we v er , the test continues if LO WER is set to OFF .
In this case, the measured v oltage fl ashes on the LCD v oltmeter to indicate the
decrease in the test v oltage if the output v oltage de viates the monitor range.
• In A C withstanding v oltage testing, a maximum rated current of 100 mA is not
achie v ed at a test v oltage of 200 V or less. If the upper current is set to 100 mA or
more at a test v oltage of 200 V or less, no F AIL judgement may be made e v en if
the output is short-circuited during the test, thus acti v ating the output-v oltage
monitoring function.

Output-po wer limiting function
This is a protection function intended to limit the output po wer during a test. If the
output v oltage multiplied by the measured current (including the of fset v alue)
e xceeds 550 V A and 55 V A in A C and DC withstanding v oltage tests, respecti v ely ,
the protection function acti v ates. “O VERLO AD” fl ashes on the LCD, and the test
stops.
At an output v oltage of 5.01 kV , for instance, when the measured current (including
the current in the DUT and test probe) e xceeds 110 mA, the output po wer e xceeds
550 V A and the test stops due to an o v erload.
T o cancel this function, press the ST OP switch.
