5. Enter mountstate –getobject –enclosure and press Enter to list the mount
state of the DSM that is being replaced. Ensure that each DSM is online.

6. Enter list enclosure and press Enter to display the firmware version of the
DSMs. Record the firmware version of each DSM.

mountstate -setobject –dismount -enclosure 1 –okdegraded
and press
Enter to dismount the DSM that you will replace. The RAID controller
prepares the DSM for service by dismounting the DSM and the disk drives
inside the DSM.

alert – get
and press Enter to query the active alert list. Ensure alert
2000 was generated for the DSM that was dismounted, and ensure alert 2300
was generated for each disk drive in the DSM that was dismounted.
