Completing the procedure
Complete the following steps after you install or replace the disk drive or solid-state drive in a system,
enclosure, or expansion unit:
1.
Replace the front cover. For instructions, see “Installing the front cover on the 8248-L4T, 8408-E8D, or
9109-RMD” on page 147.
2. Verify the installed part:

If you replaced the part because of a failure, verify the installed part. For instructions, see
“Verifying a repair” on page 161.

If you installed the part for any other reason, verify the installed part. For instructions, see
“Verifying the installed part” on page 149.
