Glitch trigger mode is indicated
by a positive or negative pulse on the
status line. In glitch capture mode,
the oscilloscope uses memory re-
sources to record an event where at
least two transitions occurred be-
tween sample periods. The
oscilloscope can capture pulses as
narrow as 3.5 ns and as long as the
sample period—1 ns at any sweep
speed.
HF Reject (high-frequency reject)
adds a low-pass filter with a 3 dB
point at 50 kHz to the trigger path.
Holdoff keeps the trigger from re-
arming for an amount of time set by
the holdoff knob.
Horizontal controls adjust the
time base, horizontal mode, and de-
layed sweep functions.
Invert shifts the displayed wave-
form 180 degrees, and is available for
channels 1 and 2. When the oscillo-
scope is triggered on the signal to be
inverted, the trigger is also inverted.
Level changes the trigger level.
LF Reject (low-frequency reject)
adds a high pass filter with a 3 dB
point at 50 kHz to the trigger path.
Line in TV trigger mode, the oscil-
loscope triggers on the TV line sync
pulses. As a trigger source, the oscil-
loscope triggers off of the power line
frequency.
Main/Delayed allows you to select
the horizontal mode (Main, Delayed,
XY, and Roll), and set the vernier
and time reference.
Measurement algorithms are
used to calculate input frequency, in-
put period, duty cycle, positive and
negative widths on logic channels,
and rise time and fall time.
Measurement field is used to dis-
play results for measurements,
trigger settings, error messages, and
status messages.

technology that combines the advan-
tages of conventional deep-memory
digital oscilloscopes with the respon-
siveness and update rate of
traditional analog oscilloscopes. See

Mode/Coupling allows you to se-
lect a trigger mode (Auto level,
Auto, Normal), Coupling, Reject, and
Noise Reject.
