To adjust the Option 005 offset (R15) (HP 54645A)

On the Option 005 board, there is only one adjustment. You must calibrate
the oscilloscope before performing this adjustment. You must also remove
the cabinet to access R15. Refer to chapter 8, “Replacement Parts,” for
instructions on how to remove the cabinet to gain access to R15.

Set up the oscilloscope for the voltage adjustment.

Turn off the oscilloscope.

Remove the cabinet from the oscilloscope.

Connect the negative lead of the digital multimeter to a ground point
on the oscilloscope.

Connect the oscilloscope’s vertical output to the voltage inputs of the
digital multimeter (DMM) using the DMM’s test leads and the
BNC-to-dual-banana post adapter.

Turn on the oscilloscope.

Set up the digital multimeter for a DC voltage measurement.
