Because users’ login to the IRF system occupies large memory space, an IRF system allows at most six
users to log in at the same time. The permitted login user types are console and virtual type terminal
(VTY).

Network requirements
Three Switch 4800G series switches in an IRF form a bus connection. Their member IDs are 1, 2, and
3, as shown in
Figure 1-9 .
