Make sure that the mattress is correctly installed and securely attached, and in
particular that it is well centered on the mattress support platform and pushed tightly
against the foot board to avoid the danger of entrapment.
Make sure that the attachments of the mattress do not become entangled in the
moving parts of the mattress support platform, such as actuators, CPR handles, etc.
With articulated chassis, make sure that the straps of the mattress are only attached to
the mobile head and foot sections and NOT to the main fixed chassis.
6. Attach the control unit to the foot board of
the bed (C) using the universal
attachment support (D).
7. Open the cover to uncover the mattress.
8. Insert the hose integrated in the pocket (E) at the foot of the mattress.
9. Connect the air hose to the CPR valve (F). A click is heard when the hose is
correctly connected.
