c. Make sure that the blank is firmly seated in the bay.
d. Make sure that all the system cables that are routed through the front cable channel are properly secured in the
metal cable tabs.
This is done to prevent system damage due to cables being inadvertently caught under the fan cage.
Since the fan 1 was replaced by a fan blank, redundant fan mode is no longer supported in this configuration.
19. Do one of the following:
Position the tower server for operation.
• Server in rack mode:
Slide the server into the rack.
20. Connect all peripheral cables to the server.
21. Connect each power cord to the server.
22. Connect each power cord to the power source.
25. Perform the verification and configuration procedures required by the drive option.
