event
You can set details of the event.
• Available events (camera) : It shows the list of all the events supported by a camera by using the ONVIF
protocol.
• Events supported by the recorder : You can map the list of events supported by a camera to events that the
Recorder can detect. There is no default value. It only shows the value sent by a camera.
Setting the Camera Functions
You can set the camera while viewing the live video of the selected camera.
menu > Camera > Camera Setup
` You can use this feature in the following cases:
1. A camera connected to Wisenet protocols.
2. A camera connected with admin privileges.
` For more details on camera settings, refer to the camera user manual.
Settings and operational spec vary depending on each camera.
` This function is not supported in some models.
SSDR
If there is a significant difference between the dark and the bright areas, increase the brightness of the dark
areas to maintain the level of brightness of the entire area.
Mode, level, D-Range can be set.
Backlight
You can view both bright and dark areas.
Mode, WDR level, WDR black/white levels can be set.
exposure
You can adjust the exposure of your camera.
You can set brightness, shutter, SSNR, Sens-up, iris/lens, and AGC.
Day/night
You can change the mode to adjust the color and contrast.
You can set Mode, Dwell time, Negative color, Duration, Alarm input, Switching brightness, Simple Focus After
D/N, and Activation time (color).
Special
DIS (shaking compensation), use of Defog levels can be set.
Focus
You can adjust the focus of you camera's video.
You can set focus, zoom in, simple focus, and focus reset.
Flip
You can set flip/mirror modes and hallway view.
privacy
You can set an area to be hidden in the camera image range to protect privacy. You can select whether or not
to use the privacy setting and set up to six new privacy areas.
` With a PTZ camera, it is not possible to configure settings, and when it is permitted, the setting area may be incorrect.
Setting the profiles
Setting the Recording profile
You can configure the video profile settings for instructing the network camera (connected to each channel) to
make recording.
menu > Camera > profile > Record
` You can configure the settings only for the profiles that are supported by the camera.
` If the profiles used for recording and network are different, camera's video feed may not comply with the frame rate as
specified in the camera.
• CH : Click < > to display the channel information table.
• Profile : You can select the recording profile for selected channel.
• Codec : You can check the codec for selected channel.
• Resolution : You can select the resolution for selected channel.
• Frame Rate : You can set the frame rate for selected recording profile.
• Edit : You can change, modify, and delete camera profiles.
