This menu controls alarm inputs and outputs

Alarm Inputs may be controlled separately for both Day and Night sequences. To set
when the day and night sequences begin, see the “Switcher Programming; Set Timer
Mode” section of this manual for more information.

You may also set the unit to record with alternate cameras if there is a video loss on
one or more cameras. Program the values V1 to V16 to a corresponding camera
number.

To set parameters for an individual Alarm Input, change the Alarm Input parameter
to the desired input number. Each input may also have an output assigned to it by
setting Alarm Output.

When the Alarm Sequencing menu is set to “Programmed”, the Alarm Type param-
eter may be set to Timed, Bypass or Manual for each individual alarm input:

Timed:

the unit will record for the number of scans it is set for and then goes back to

normal operation

Bypass:

Alarm input is ignored (useful for users who need an input active for night,

but not for day, or vice versa. For example, Alarm Type is set to Bypass on the Day
Alarm Function menu and set to Manual on the Night Alarm Function menu).

Manual:

Unit records sequence over and over until the alarm is deactivated and then

returns to normal operation.

Scan Count:

Enter the number of times that a sequence is to be repeated, up to 255

times.

When the Alarm Sequencing menu is set to “Homing Sw.” (Homing Switch), the
Alarm Type parameter may only be set to Manual or Bypass.
