As with the Record Text Position fields, the ATM Text information is broken up into
different fields as shown in the previous menu. For each ATM, each field can be
programmed on or off and the text position can be programmed for left or right
justification. Two text fields can also be programmed to appear on the same line. The
eight available text fields are defined as follows:
•
Time - Displays eight or nine characters, depending on whether the recorder is
programmed for a 12 or 24 hour clock (i.e., 08:28:44A).
•
Date - Displays eight characters (i.e., 12/04/99).
•
Title_1 - Displays up to 24 characters for the camera title line number 1, as
programmed in the Camera Titles menu.
•
Trans. - Displays eight characters, consisting of four numbers for the transaction
number followed by a space and three characters for the transaction type (i.e.,
1678 Dep).
•
Term. No - Displays eight characters maximum for the ATM number (i.e.,
BA12356).
•
Card No - Displays four digits for the customer's ATM card number (i.e., 1234).
•
System - Displays up to 24 characters for the system code, as programmed in the
Display Options menu.
•
Bills - Displays up to 16 digits representing the number of bills dispensed from
the ATM.
If two fields are programmed to appear on the same line, the program automatically
truncates each field to 12 characters, if needed. This occurs only if long System Codes
and/or Camera Titles are programmed to appear on the same line as another text field
or right justified. Truncation could also occur for the Bills text field if right justification
is selected and the ATM supports more than six dispenser trays.
The “Card Number Line” and the “Term. Number Line” items (accessible in the ATM
Text Formatter menu when “Format” is set to Custom) can also be programmed. The
ATM receipt line number on which these data items are displayed, can be selected in
this menu. This information, when programmed, is used by the data parsing routine
to simplify the process for locating these text fields within the ATM data stream. The
Card Number Line and Term. Number Line menu items are not available when
“Format” is set to Standard.
Note: The Time setting that is used for the ATM transaction display text is the same
as the recorder's time. This time setting will be the same as the ATM's time if the
recorder's Sync to ATM parameter is programmed to “Yes” (the recommended
setting).
