Record Alarm:

If set to “yes”, allows the predetermined alarm recording speed to be

activated during an alarm.

If set to “no” and in Record mode, the following will take place during an alarm input:

Alarm Recording:

If speed is greater than 48 hours (72 hours to 960 hours), the unit

changes to 48-hour speed during the alarm input. If speed is set to 48 hours or less (2
hours to 48 hours), no speed change will take place during the alarm.

Alarm Counter:

Does not store alarms and counter does not increment.

If set to “no” and in Stop mode, the following will take place during an alarm input:

The unit will not record alarms and will remain in stop mode - even if Alarm Ready
is set to “yes” in the “Alarm Record Setup” menu.

The default setting for the Record Alarm parameter is “yes” for Alarm 1 through 18
and “no” for RS and V1 through V16.

Note: The unit will sequence
through all the cameras as pro-
grammed, no matter which
setting (“yes” or “no“) is cho-
sen for Record Alarm.

Be aware that both the Alarm
Record Setup menu and the
Day (Night) Alarm Function
submenu must be carefully set
so that the desired recording is
captured.
