This submenu allows you to format data from an ATM receipt to be placed in a
desired order on the screen and therefore also on the recording. “Text Line” refers
to text lines in an ATM transmission of text. There are a number of lines in an ATM
transmission. Each line in this transmission can be referred to as line 1, line 2 and
so forth. “Display Line” refers to the line on which the ATM transmission line will
be displayed.
Use the ATM Text Format submenu to select and position of ATM data when “ATM
Generic” is selected in the “Device” setting of the Configure Serial menu.
The ATM Text Formatter menu appears as shown below when “Standard” is selected
in the “Format” line:

The menu settings above, along with the programming performed in the Standard
Formatter menu (shown below), are used to maintain the way the ATM text formatting
has been done in the past. This method will be maintained for any “Device” setting
other
than “ATM Generic”. If “ATM Generic” is used, either Custom or Standard
formatting can be selected.
