You can go to
Menu > Maintenance > System Info > Network interface
to view the status of
the PPPoE connection.
12.2.2 Configuring DDNS
If your DVR is set to use PPPoE as its default network connection, you may set the Dynamic DNS
(DDNS) that is to be used for network access.
Registration with your ISP is required before configuring the system to use DDNS.
Steps:
1.
Go to
Menu > Configuration > Network > DDNS
.
2.
Check the <Enable DDNS> checkbox to enable this feature.
3.
Select the <DDNS Type>. Three different DDNS types are selectable: <DynDNS>,
<PeanutHull>, and <NO-IP>.
<DynDNS>:
1)
Enter
the <Server Address>
for DynDNS (i.e. members.dyndns.org).
2)
In the <Device Domain Name> text field, enter the domain name that you obtained
from the DynDNS website.
3)
Enter the <User Name> and the <Password> that were registered on the DynDNS
website.

: Enter the <User Name> and the <Password> obtained from the
PeanutHull website.
<NO-IP>:
