The backup of pictures using a USB writer or a SATA writer has the same operating instructions. 

Please refer to the steps described above.   

7.1.2 Backing up by Event Search 

Back up event-related record files using USB devices (USB flash drives, USB HDDs, USB writer), a 

SATA writer or an eSATA HDD. Quick Backup and Normal Backup are supported. 

Steps:

Go to 

Menu > Export > Event

. 

2.

 

Select the cameras to search.   

3.

 

Select the event type as <alarm input>, <motion>, <VCA>, or <POS> (for GD-RT-AT5016N).

Set the search conditions and click the <Search> button to enter the <Search Result> interface. 

The matched video files are displayed in the <Chart> or the <List> display modes.
