11.Pressure of machine oil is too low
Cause of failure Methods of elimination
1 The leakage of machine oil
2 Much insufficient machine oil or the density
is too low;
3 T he temperature of machine oil is beyond the
limit.
4 Failure caused by the pressure relief valve on
oil pump.
5 Failure caused by oil pump
6 Oil filter is blocked, or connection
pipe is leaking oil.
7 Oil filter is blocked.
8 Failure caused by the oil pressure sensor
9 Main bushing, the bushing or camshaft for
connection rod abraded too much.
10 Failure of oil manometer.
11 Too much oil leakage at rocker shaft or
where chain is tensioned.
1 R efer to article 1 in “Too much machine oil
consumption”;
2 A dd machine oil, or change the machine oil;
3 Check the cooling system when the engine cools
down.
4 Send the pressure relief valve on service.
5 R epair or change the oil pump.
6 Wash, clean, and tighten the connector.
7 Change the oil filter
8 Change the oil pressure sensor
9 Change the bushing or bearing.
10 Change the machine oil manometer
11 Check, repair, and fix it.
