Cause of failure
Methods of elimination
1 L eakage of machine oil

T he oil-discharge bolt on bottom oil pan
is loose.

T he fixing bolt on bottom oil pan is
loose.
3
Gasket of bottom oil pan is damaged.

Fixing bolt for the cover of chainwheel
chamber is loose.
5
Sealing ring of shield cover for valve
chamber is damaged.
6
Front /back oil seal for crankshaft is
damaged.
7
Fixing bolt for oil pump is loose, or
gasket is damaged.

Fixing bolt for oil filter is loose, or
gasket is damaged.

Combined piston oil rings are abraded too
much or even damaged.
3 Piston and cylinder are abraded too much.
4 Oil seal on valve rod is damaged.
5 Valve rod and guiding rod are abraded too
much.
6 The ventilation system of crankshaft box is
blocked.

E ngine is running with small load at high
speed for a long-term period.

Tighten the oil-discharge bolt.

Tighten the fixing bolt.

C hange the gasket.

Tighten the fixing bolt or change the gasket.

C hange the sealing ring

C hange the oil seal

Tighten the fixing bolt or change the gasket.

Tighten the fixing bolt or change the gasket.

1 Have engine running at idle speed, decrease the water
temperature below 80 , and close the ignition switch.
2 Select the specified model of spark plug.

1.Insufficient amount of cooling fluid
2.Fan belt loose or damaged
3.Failure in water pump
4.Failure in thermostat
5.R adiator, cylinder block, cover / pipeline/
passage of cylinder blocked or leaked
6.Failure in silicon-oil clutch
7.Machine oil insufficient or the density is low;
8.Too much carbon deposit in cylinder head or
combustion chamber;
9.E xhaust system not through

2.A djust the tension degree of belt or change the belt.
