7-3-2 Radio Frequency Interface (RFI) Diagnostic Tests (for RFI Configuration)
1.) Access the FE Diagnostics dialog box, as described in the Accessing the Front End Diagnostic
Options section, on page 7-6.
2.) In the FE Diagnostics dialog box, trackball to the RFI tab and press Select, the RFI tab is displayed,
as shown below:
NOTE: Proper operation of the RFI board may be tested by performing either of the two tests: Self Test
or Full Test, as required. (While the Full Test is in progress, it may be necessary to wait a while
since this requires longer than the Self Test for completion).
3.) Verify that the Comment area indicates that the system is ready to perform the test (as shown in
Figure 7-5, above).
4.) Trackball to the Full Test tab and press Select .
OR
5.) Trackball to the Self Test tab and press Select . The Full Test (or Self Test ) LED changes color as
follows:
• Yellow: The test is in progress.
• Green: The test has been completed and no problems were identified.
• Red: Problems were identified during the performance of the test.
