Cleaning Inside the Equipment

Clean the insides of the equipment.

Procedure

General parts

Clean the insides of the equipment using a vacuum cleaner.

(1)

Remove the dusts and dirt inside the equipment on the frame, mechanism
unit, and inside the wiring unit cover, etc. using a cleaning cloth or vacuum
cleaner.

(2)

Inspect inside the mechanism unit and clean if dirty.

Sub scanning unit

Clean the sub scanning unit using a vacuum cleaner.

(1)

Remove the two left guide plates of the sub scanning unit.

#4 [Remove] Guide plate (Inside)

#3 [Remove]

Remove the dusts, dirt, and film scraps on the sub scanning unit using a
vacuum cleaner.

Reinstall the two left guide plates of the sub scanning unit.
