Remove the film at the SG2 position of the density
measurement unit.

mode drive error
Attempted to set the low speed down
mode speed during measurement of
the sub scanning unit grip rotation
speed measurement, but because the
measurement result is outside the
specification, the speed cannot be set.
The following motor/sensor/part may be faulty. Correct
according to the troubleshooting procedure for this error code
in “3.1.4 Troubleshooting Flow”.

Attempted to set the low speed down
mode speed when measuring the sub-
scanning unit grip rotation speed, but
the measured results were outside the
specified range.
(The speed can be set and MD2
operates.)
1. Recheck the MD2 rotation speed.
If the problem occurs again after the above procedure, the
following malfunction is suspected.
Malfunction of MD2 (not standard product) or improper
adjustment.
